Don commenced business as a Registered Valuer in Taupo in 1984 following obtaining a qualification in Valuation and Property Management at Auckland University.

For the past 39 years Don has undertaken a wide variety of valuation types including residential, lifestyle, commercial and industrial properties as well as tourism facilities, hotels,  motel complexes and sports clubs.

For the past five years Don has concentrated mainly in the valuation of the residential property sector including homes, apartments, lifestyle properties, land subdivisions, proposed residential developments and leasehold properties.

Additional services provided also include insurance valuations for replacement and indemnity purposes, family and relationship property settlements, tax and rating objections, compensation assessments, asset valuations for accounting and tax purposes, land development contribution assessments and unit entitlement assessments.

Don is an accredited panel valuer with the major trading banks and lending institutions and has long and experienced working relationships with them.

Don values the area all around Taupo township and the Central Plateau from Ohakune, Raetihi, National Park and Turangi in the south to the holiday settlements around Lake Taupo including Pukawa, Omori, Kuratau, Whareroa, Motutere, Hatepe and Kinloch as well extending to Mangakino and Reporoa in the north.
